MUSEUM'S LETTER

M.S.Ö. Air and Space Museum is an establishment registered as a "Museum" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums. Our museum is located at Sivrihisar Aviation Center, Necati Artan Facilities, an "oasis" in the steppes of Western Anatolia. Our museum, operating under Mach Aviation, one of Turkey's leading aviation companies, was established in 2018. The most important feature of our museum is that a large part of the aircraft in its inventory are in "Flying Condition" and are preserved as airworthy within the Museum. These are very important aircraft in the history of World Aviation. Each has its own "story". Being able to see these aircraft, exhibited with a modern museum approach, up close is a great opportunity for historians and history enthusiasts, as well as for all aviators.

Our museum's primary goal is to foster and increase the "Aviation Culture" in Türkiye correctly and consciously, serving as a bridge between the history, past, and future of aviation. Providing information about aviation to those interested from all age groups, preparing for innovations, developments, and the future, are among our goals. Another objective is to draw more attention from Türkiye's industrialists and entrepreneurs to this field, alongside with aviation education. We believe that achieving the "level of contemporary civilization" can only be realized through these efforts. There is no doubt that "The Future is in the Skies"! We believe it is necessary to remind ourselves that aviation is a field of intense competition between countries.

We invite families, school administrators, teachers, and all our citizens with a passion for aviation to the M.S.Ö. Air and Space Museum. We believe that during the planning of their future, this visit will further broaden the horizons of our children and young people and instill in them hopeful ideas and thoughts.

Let our meeting point at every stage of aviation be "The Center of the World," Sivrihisar - M.S.Ö. Air and Space Museum...!

With Deepest Respect,
