Boeing Stearman is one of the most famous training biplane of the aviation history. Model 75 series production started in 1934. One of the most important features of Boeing Stearman, which is equipped with a steel body structure, is that they were produced by women for use in combat pilot training during the World War II.

The final version of the 75 series, exhibited as the “Boeing Stearman Airframe” in our museum’s inventory is E75 (PT-13D) model. It was produced in 1942. 220 horsepower Lycoming R-680 engines are used in this Stearman model.
